Its software analyzer, the “Virtual Systems Engineer,” allows MCSB to add value to IT management by addressing, remotely and with no human intervention, issues that range from performance analysis and capacity planning to database management.

To achieve this comprehensive automation, the Automated Virtual Systems Engineer (AVSE) receives data over the Internet and generates natural-language consultant-grade reports, which not only assess the current situation of your server but also make proactive suggestions to help avoid future problems.

The service is complemented by the Automated Server Agent (ASA) and the Automated Desktop Agent (ADA), responsible for collecting, compressing and encrypting data and sending it to the AVSE, via SSL, secure SMTP or secure HTTP.

Performance Wizard
The Performance Wizard is the definitive automatic performance analysis service. Its natural language .pdf format report gives you the important performance-related information to allow you to understand the present behavior of your server.

Capacity Wizard
The Capacity Wizard was conceived to better help clients plan the future upgrade needs of their IT environments. Based on the data collected by the ASA, the VSE carries out its inferences for future behavior and trend analysis.

Asset Wizard
The Asset Wizard allows systems administrators to efficiently manage a series of servers and workstations in their company structure. The Asset Wizard produces reports which include hardware configurations (in addition to disk and network) and installed software. Furthermore, the customer can easily keep track of any modifications made to a computer’s hardware configuration, network configuration and software updates.

Consolidated Performance Wizard
The Consolidated Performance Wizard allows for the “hands on” management of a series of servers in one easy to read summarized report. Additionally, if problems are identified for a given computer, the client can generate a specific Performance Wizard report for that server.

Consolidated Capacity Wizard
The Consolidated Capacity Wizard is capable of providing forecasting for a group of managed computers in a single easy to read and summarized report.

Real Time Monitoring Wizard
RTM Wizard allows users to observe evolution of resource usage in the monitored machines through a Web console or WAP. Graphs showing usage of each resource are updated on a minute-to-minute basis.
